About

Bio

I received my PhD from the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton. Before joining the Animal Vibration Lab, I was a research associate at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Bristol.

Research Interests

I have a broad range of research interests with a focus on vibration and dynamics, combining theoretical study, numerical simulation with experimental validation, and covering aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, railway engineering and biology. My current research at the Animal Vibration Lab involves developing technologies for engineering, taking inspiration from dynamic systems in biology. My previous research projects include (1) accurate modelling of dynamic systems, aiming to predict and optimize dynamic behaviours; (2) proposing control strategies for dynamic systems, aiming to improve the dynamic performance; (3) analysing the mechanisms of dynamic phenomena, aiming to deepen understanding.
